The RF Unit provides a method for two devices to communicate with each other by using a direct connection service. In the direct connection service, the RF Unit Provides a virtual connection between Vishay Allegany’s Weight Processor and the Remote Receiver (Mega-8 Receiver).

Weight data is transmitted from the weight processor to the RF Unit, which houses a Radio Receiver. The Radio Receiver transmits the information from the crane scale to the Remote Receiver.
